Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
Join Rabbi Meszler in our outdoor chapel for 45 minutes of live, physical distant-compliant, guided meditation. Together we will share Jewish mindfulness and work to develop awareness that connects us more deeply to ourselves, others and Judaism.
In order to remain compliant with all guidelines and restrictions, pre-registration is required and this meditation will be limited to 20 participants and subject to acceptable weather conditions.
We count on all participants to review screening questions outlined and adhere to restrictions and guidelines.

Screening Questions
Guidelines for Participation in Meditation with Rabbi Meszler
- All participants must pre-register.
- We will limit the size of the group to 20 people.
- People not from the same household must remain 6’ distanced from others.
- Participants must wear a mask at all times when indoors and must remain a minimum of 6’ distance from others (when entering/exiting the building, passing in the corridors, entering/exiting the building to use the restroom, etc.)
- Please bring your own hand sanitizer and sanitize your hands before joining the session. We will also be making hand sanitizer available.
- Please enter and exit the outdoor chapel from the front parking lot.
- Observe all markings in the outdoor chapel.
- We will grant access to the restrooms. Maintain social distance and observe all markings when entering/exiting the restrooms.
- In the event of inclement weather, the program may be canceled in advance or during the session.
We know that this may be the first time in months we have been in proximity to one another. However, please keep your social distance. This is not a time to gather socially nor is it a time to kiss, shake hands or greet each other.
Please review these Screening Questions. Should you answer YES to any of these questions, please DO NOT attend the meditation and contact the Temple Office.
- Are you at higher risk of severe illness from COVID-19?
Older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions might be at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19. Refer to guidance from the Sharon Health Department or your primary care provider for additional information.
- Have you been diagnosed, tested or placed in quarantine for COVID-19 in the last 14 days?
- Within the last 14 days have you (or someone in your household) had Close Contact* with a confirmed or suspected [is being tested] case of COVID-19?
- Do you (or someone in your household) have fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea?
* Close contact is defined as:
- Being within approximately 6 feet (2 meters) of a COVID-19 case for a prolonged period of time (10-15 minutes); close contact can occur while caring for, living with, visiting, or sharing a healthcare waiting area or room with a COVID-19 case OR
- Having direct contact with infectious secretions of a COVID-19 case (e.g., being coughed on)
