High School
Hebrew/Religious Education does not end with Bar/Bat Mitzvah. Following Bar/Bat Mitzvah, students are expected to continue their religious studies through Confirmation (10th grade). Following the confirmation process, our program has a course of study that continues through grade twelve. Temple Sinai High School offers students a unique study program designed to deepen their Jewish heritage and identity. Students register for core courses and select from a wide offering of intellectually stimulating elective courses ranging from Biblical studies, Jewish history, traditional texts and creative arts. In addition, the High School program offers young people a chance to get together in an environment of growth and intellectual development and thereby fosters a sense of common unity and common purpose. There is also a special social action track ("TELEM") for all students in grades eight through twelve. Special programs and guest speakers offer other avenues for students to learn more about our unique traditions.

Confirmation
The culmination of the formal religious educational program for young people is the ceremony of confirmation, which is held on Shavuot. Students are confirmed after the successful completion of three years of study in the high school (grades 8-10) and other activities, which are scheduled during the course of the confirmation class year. Please refer to our High School Handbook for more information.
