"Eternal One, who may abide in Your House? Who may dwell in Your holy mountain? Those who are upright; who do justly; who speak the truth within their hearts." (Psalms 15:1-2)

About Us

Temple Sinai of Sharon is a House of Prayer, a House of Study, and a House of Community.

We have a dynamic Rabbi a nationally renowned Cantor and an outstanding Religious School.

Our community is a diverse one—young and older; families with children, couples without children, people with varied levels of Jewish knowledge and observance, interfaith families, and gay and lesbian families.

We provide a broad offering of worship opportunities, learning experiences and programs. As a member of the Union for Reform Judaism, the national organization of Reform congregations, we have a wealth of resources available to our professional and lay leaders.

Temple Sinai is located on Canton Street in Sharon MA, surrounded by acres of conservation land.

Our facility has an expandable 250-seat sanctuary filled with light and warmth; a spacious function hall that seats up to 300 (with a large dance floor); and a school wing with bright, modern classrooms. Our function hall is available for rent to non-members.

Our Shared Vision
  • A temple that feels like a second home, where everyone feels welcome and warm whenever we enter the building or simply think of the temple.

  • A temple where members take an active part in creating new forums for discussion, learning, and getting to know and enjoy one another socially.

  • A temple whose climate and spiritual offerings draw new members annually.

  • A temple that embraces diversity of background and thought, and where trust and respect enhance the community experience for everyone.
