This year, Temple Sinai celebrated 50 years of being a house of worship and study, and a place of community for Reform Jews.

During Hanukkah 2007, we marked the beginning of a year-long recognition of our temple's history, celebration of our current status as a vibrant Jewish community, and dedication to a bright future.

Thanks to everyone who made this year of celebration so special!

50th Anniversary Mural

On December 7, 2007 Temple Sinai kicked off its 50th anniversary year with a wonderful Hanukkah Shabbat celebration.  The evening featured a delicious pot-luck dinner complete with international latke bar, a community menorah lighting, a Shabbat service led by TASTY members, and a lively concert featuring Peter and Ellen Allard.  As part of the festivities, a special 50th Anniversary Mural (shown above) was unveiled. It is filled with beautiful photographs highlighting the past 50 years of Temple Sinai's history.
